The 4th International Iranian Congress of Cardiac Anesthesia was held from Thursday, January 10th, 2024, to Saturday, January 12th, 2024, at the Abu Reyhan International Conference Hall, Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran. This event was organized by the Iranian Society of Cardiac Anesthesia.
Following the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 4th International Iranian Congress of Cardiac Anesthesia was successfully held through the efforts of the Iranian Society of Cardiac Anesthesia, in collaboration with other related societies, and with the cooperation of medical equipment and pharmaceutical companies. Approximately 200 participants from the medical community and cardiac anesthesia specialists attended the congress. Dr. Alireza Jalali Farahani, the congress president and head of the Iranian Society of Cardiac Anesthesia, emphasized the goal of the congress as enhancing scientific knowledge and skills in the field of cardiac anesthesia and providing better healthcare services. Additionally, Dr. Ali Dabbagh, the scientific secretary of the congress, highlighted the advancement of scientific activities in the field of cardiac anesthesia in areas that hold a prominent position in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, genetic editing, blockchain, quantum computing, big data, the Internet of Things, robotics, cloud computing, edge computing, self-driving cars, and 5G networks.
