The 9th Iranian Neonatal Health Congress commenced on November 14, 2023, at the Razavi International Conference Center located at the Milad Tower in Tehran.
For the past nine years, this congress has been dedicated to improving infant health, reducing infant mortality, and updating knowledge related to neonatal health. By inviting all stakeholders involved in infant health, including subspecialists, specialists, general practitioners, neonatal nurses, and other related fields, the congress creates a platform for annual discussions and exchange of ideas centered around a common and prevalent neonatal issue.
This year, respiratory issues remained a central focus, along with cardiovascular diseases (both those that develop in infants and those present at birth). Other key topics included the management of high-risk pregnancies, newborn resuscitation, quality improvement in neonatal units, neurological care, respiratory care, nutrition, hematology, and kidney diseases. The 9th Iranian Neonatal Health Congress concluded on November 16, 2023, with various companies exhibiting their products.
Fara Medical Group (Fara Teb Jarrah and Arsan Tejarat Abaris), a leading company in the field of medical equipment, especially for newborns, participated in the congress. They showcased products such as neonatal ventilator sets, laryngeal masks, and neonatal pulse oximeter probes. The presence of the congress president, Dr. Hadi Samaei, executive secretary Dr. Parisa Mohagheghi, and scientific secretary Dr. Nastaran Khosravi at the Fara Group booth was a highlight for the company.
